Learning to use the 1 & 1/4 method! Muscle Building Tip:If you have hit a plateau with a bodypart try using 1 and a Quarter reps. You firstly need to be able to do a full ROM movement, so this maybe not for total beginners. Best done on a movement with a fairy long range of movement, like a Squat, Dip or Lat Pulldown. Example 1 & 1/4 Squat:Squat down to full depth, with 3-4 secs eccentric.Drive Back up to approx parallel, then back down to full depth, then drive HARD up to full extension at the top.
