Learning to use the 1 & 1/4 method!
Muscle Building Tip:
If you have hit a plateau with a bodypart try using 1 and a Quarter reps. You firstly need to be able to do a full ROM movement, so this maybe not for total beginners. Best done on a movement with a fairy long range of movement, like a Squat, Dip or Lat Pulldown.
Example 1 & 1/4 Squat:
Squat down to full depth, with 3-4 secs eccentric.
Drive Back up to approx parallel, then back down to full depth, then drive HARD up to full extension at the top. These are brutal! Basically you are increasing TUT and doing the hardest part of the rep TWICE each time.
