TOP 5 FAT BURNING FOODS….

My personal Top 5 FAT BURNING FOODS…

Often when people hear the word ‘dieting’ they picture strict meal regimes, boring food, and small meal portions. Fortunately, nothing is further from the truth! By eating the right combinations of the right foods, you can accelerate any weight loss program while still enjoying great meals.

Check out these five foods which will help you shed those kilos.
Fatty Fish: That’s right, enjoy a lovely seafood dinner – and burn weight while eating! Fish contains essential omega-3 fatty acids, which help control the body’s sleep rhythms and metabolic rate. Fish is rich in protein, which has two effects: it makes you feel fuller for longer and it takes a lot of energy to digest. Choose fish which is rich in omega-3 such as salmon, tuna, or mackerel.

Avocados: Avocados are high in mono-unsaturated fats, which will help you lose that belly bulge. Using fat to burn fat ? As crazy as it sounds, yes. Avocado fat promotes fat-soluble nutrient absorption, reduces hunger pangs, and fights free radicals. Free radicals can cause all sorts of metabolic problems, and reducing their levels will help keep you burning calories at a healthy rate.

Nuts: High in fibre, protein, and healthy fats, nuts are one of the healthiest things to munch on between meals. Many nuts contain high levels of magnesium, which is essential for melatonin (a hormone controlling sleep) regulation. A well-rested body it a healthy body. Next time you’re shopping, choose a bag of unsalted mixed nuts instead of your customary potato chips or chocolate.

Fibrous Veggies: Vegetables such as pumpkin and beetroot are packed full of fibre and nutrients. Fibre slows down the bodies digestive system and will keep you feeling fuller for longer – reducing between meal snacking. Beetroot are especially good because, along with their high levels of fibre, they contain nitrates. Nitrates can boost your gym performance by widening your blood vessels and increasing blood-flow to the muscles. Working harder in the gym means more calories burnt which equals faster weight loss!!

Oatmeal/Porridge Oats: Oats (a lifelong favourite!!) – in the form of porridge or otherwise – is the perfect breakfast food. High in fibre, it stays in your digestive system for hours, providing a steady stream of energy and reducing hunger pangs. It also contains a low percentage of fat and a decent amount of protein.
Eating healthy as important as exercise when trying to lose weight . By avoiding nasty fast foods and choosing the right ingredients for every meal, you can begin to slim without even trying!
